My Bio

I am currently serving as a Banking consultant at Wipro Technologies. My responsibilities include managing client relationships and leading consulting and development teams in strategic and business transformational projects for Fortune 500 companies. As part of these consulting assignments, I’ve had the privilege to travel widely across USA, UK and Australia. Wipro is India’s leading business conglomerate with over $9 billion revenues in 2008-09.

Prior to this, I served as a Business Analyst at HDFC Bank in Mumbai (India). HDFC Bank, rated as one of the ‘Best Banks in Asia’ by Fortune is India’s leading private bank with revenues over $1.5 billion in 2008-09. I thoroughly enjoyed working in HDFC Bank and more importantly, I fell in love with Mumbai.

I am also involved in a startup on a non-commercial basis.

I graduated as a Gold Medalist (Summa Cum Laude) in my MBA batch of 2005 at Sri Sathya Sai University, one of the reputed business schools in India.  Prior to that, I graduated in Electrical Engineering from JNTU, Hyderabad.

My writings include a wide range of topics – a series of seemingly discontinuous but connected ramblings; incoherent paradoxes and lucid analysis. My pet peeves include mediocrity and artificiality. I dabble with sarcasm and cynicism extensively. I am currently contemplating a magnum opus – ‘Side-effects of work’.

There is one hobby that I can give an arm and a leg for – Quizzing. I’ve had the pleasure to win quite a few prestigious quizzes at the state and national level along with having tremendous fun. The other hobby I’ve developed over the years is Handwriting Analysis. Recently started on my amateur photography journey with my Canon DSLR. Also, I can talk about books and movies for hours together. A complete book and movie freak. You can find a list of books and movies that I like in the other tabs of this blog.
